Year’s 3 and 4: Puppet show
In recognition of the end of World War I, Year 3 and 4 completed a puppet show about the Christmas truce in 1914. The children worked hard to create shadow puppets and learn lines that told the story, from the singing on Christmas Eve, a Chaplin telling the story of Christmas, to the game of football that some soldiers played on Christmas day. With such sadness in Remembrance it was great to explore such a bright and joyous moment in the dark time of war. The children have done an amazing job and should be proud of what they have achieved.
