Willow and Maple

After being inspired by one of our visitors to school this week Willow and Maple class have thought about the soldiers who came from Netheravon and the surrounding area. With these stories in mind they have created their own stories about the experiences of soldiers in World War I. They created these as books with Maple class using computer programmes to create their own front covers.

Ash

The children in Ash class have learnt a little bit about the soldiers who came from Netheravon village and the surrounding area. They looked at old photographs of the houses they lived in and thought about what these would have been like 100 years ago. They then used collage to recreate these houses, using the photographs as guidance.
